USED COLT CLARK CUSTOM WADCUTTER .45 ACP PISTOL

Clark Custom Guns Wadcutter .45 ACP: The Ultimate Bullseye Legend

The Clark Custom Wadcutter holds an elite, highly revered position in the golden history of competitive precision shooting. Founded by legendary gunsmith James E. Clark Sr.—the only civilian to ever win the US National Pistol Championship—Clark Custom Guns established an ironclad legacy for producing hand-fitted 1911s that dominated matches at Camp Perry. Purpose-built for the demanding rigors of NRA Bullseye competition, this platform was engineered to consistently punch clean, paper-tearing holes with surgical mechanical repeatable accuracy.

This exceptional used specimen is optimized for the .45 ACP cartridge, specifically hand-tuned to cycle semi-wadcutter ammunition flawlessly. Key features include a match-grade heavy slide with a frame-mounted optic or rib sight base, a hand-honed trigger that breaks with crisp glass-like perfection, and an incredibly tight slide-to-frame fit. The primary benefit of owning this Clark Wadcutter is its uncompromising competitive precision; the custom recoil tuning and hand-fitted bushing turn heavy-hitting match ammunition into a flat-shooting, recoilless target tool.

In any collection, this pistol delivers an immensely impressive and intimidating visual impact. Its stark target profile, prominent slide geometry, and muscular muzzle end project an unmistakable aura of elite, vintage American craftsmanship and tournament-winning dominance. It stands as a true functional masterpiece.
